Casual Vacancy St Just Town Council

With reference to the public notice published on 26 April 2024 in respect of a casual vacancy on St Just Town Council it has now been confirmed that we received insufficient requests asking that an election be held. We are now able to advertise this and fill the vacancy as soon as possible by co-option.

We ask those interested in the positions to let us know by indicating that you are legally qualified to hold such office, and why you would like to be considered.  You must be someone who fulfils at least one of the following criteria:

(a) is registered as a local government elector for the parish;

(b) has – during the whole of the preceding twelve months- occupied as owner or tenant, any land or premises in the parish;

(c) has worked principally in the parish during the preceding twelve months;

(d) had during the whole of the preceding twelve months resided in the parish or within 4.8 km thereof.

Interviews will take place at the Full Council meeting on Monday 17 June at 1900 hrs in St Just Library.
