Town Accelerator Fund – Lands End Cycle Hire

February 24th 2025

Lands End Cycle Hire, in partnership with St Just Town Council, Geevor Tin Mine, The Town Accelerator Fund, and the Tin Coast Partnership is rolling out an e bike Pilot Scheme for St Just Parish Residents this month.

If you have a volunteering and or employment need which other types of transport can’t meet, this might be for you.

We have a selection of electric bikes available to borrow on a one off or repeat basis. There are a few simple questions we need to ask you first, but if access to an ebike could help you out with work,

Contact landsendcyclehire@gmail.com to find out more.

Mayor Robert Chadder, Peter Rivett of Lands End Cycle Hire and Councillor Sue James, St Just Town Council

“We have acquired some great electric bikes and I really hope local people might get the benefit of them. Maybe you have thought of volunteering at our local community farm but it is too challenging to get there? Maybe you would like to apply for a job you have seen advertised but don’t have access to a car and the bus times wouldn’t work out? Hopefully, these bikes will allow people to work, either paid or voluntary, without the worry or cost or suitable transport.” Cllr Sue James
