People’s Emergency Briefing Saturday 13th June & Thursday 18th June (see times in main text)

May 14th 2026

In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing (NEB) brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis, and the ‘knock-on’ effect for issues such as food and national security, health and the economy, to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. The NEB’s next step was to produce a 45 minute abridged film version so as to take this vital message across the UK, these screenings are designed and held for local communities to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond.

A community group along with the Town Council warmly invite you to come along and hear the facts and after, to share thoughts and ideas on how we might respond and prepare as a community.

Please note and respect- this is not a political event- all are very welcome and refreshments and food at both screenings. We hope to see you there.

Saturday 13th June– 3pm to 5.45pm (film starts at 3.15)- Miners Chapel Room, St Just

And Thursday 18th June– 6.45pm to 8.45pm (film starts at 7pm)- Centre of Pendeen.
