People’s Emergency Briefing 25th June

June 23rd 2026

Peoples Film Community Screening Group- Follow Up Meeting on Thursday 25th June 7pm St. Just Library

We look forward to continuing the conversation, identifying community projects, individual actions and how to influence changes we feel are practical and of benefit for our community- what resources are available and accessible to us as a group? and just how we would achieve them? Also, to think about how we might be of influence in the bigger picture, linking/coordinating with other community groups?

If you have proposals, innovative ideas, practical solutions or are just curious to hear those that do and to build on them, then come along and please do bring your imagination along with you, never say never, and lets see what we can come up with collectively. We all have valuable skills and experiences to offer and the capacity to learn and grow.

And for those of you that haven’t already PLEASE SIGN Chris Packham’s petition for a Televised National Emergency Briefing on Climate and Nature Risks and the forward to your circles of influence, thousands of us have now seen and heard the risks and solutions, everyone deserves and needs the same opportunity to then make informed decisions that will strengthen rather than divide us

See you soon, behalf of St Just and Pendeen Community Screening group

please note- apologies for the short notice any future meetings will be publicised on the council website in good time and do leave your email at the library with El  if you wish to be notified that way.
